AUTHOR OF ARCHENEMIES AND PERCIVAL GYNT AND THE CONSPIRACY OF DAYS

New Year, New Reviews!

Welcome to 2019! January and February clearly don't count. The original Roman calendar didn't even have months assigned to the winter (mostly true?), so why should we even???

While we were off, some more reviews came in for my novel, Percival Gynt and the Conspiracy of I GET IT THERE'S A BIG AD ON EVERY PAGE OF THIS FRICKIN' SITE. (That's the alternate title!)

Book blogger Melissa Rose Rogers says that "Quirky writing with absurdist comedy makes this a fun read... With an ensemble cast of well developed characters, it’s delightful to see the life breathed into even tertiary characters." She also compliments the novel's "brilliant settings" and delves into some of the novel's existential underpinnings! You can read the whole review here.

Kirkus Reviews has also weighed in, calling the novel "off-kilter and funny" and "equal parts goofiness and grandeur." They also call out the romance in the novel as "as charming as it is torturous," so if you like one or both of those things! HEY! Read the complete review here.

And finally, over on Goodreads, Amy's Reviews gives the novel 5 stars and says, "From the great cover to the clues on the back of the book, this book made me laugh, smile, chuckle, and gasp as the story took its twists and turns. We need more fun sci-fi in the world and Drew Melbourne has given us this in his debut novel." Read it here.
